# Tax

Three things are constant in life: Death, Changes and **Taxes**.

We noted that the manual burns and emission reduction are not enough to curb inflation. Therefore, we will be implementing a 5% in each transaction with PIZZA.&#x20;

The 5% will be broken down into two parts which consist of:

1. Tax burns
2. Liquidity Adding

&#x20;1% of each PIZZA transaction will be burnt immediately by sending it to the dead address. This way, the supply will constantly reduce for every transaction, battling with the minting rate of 0.5 PIZZA per block.

4% of the remaining tax will be used to convert PIZZA into PIZZA-MATIC LP tokens. This is to increase the liquidity of PIZZA-MATIC pool, providing a fairer price for users.&#x20;
